The Grenache is from 20 year old bush vines grown at 420m in the Mas de Cabrera vineyards in Gandesa. Soils at Mas de Cabrera are rich in limestone with very little organic matter. The vines are dry farmed. Despite the hot dry summer, picking was delayed until the 28th September for optimum ripeness.
The grapes were hand picked before chilling to 2°C. After passing over a selection table, the grapes were destemmed and crushed, then held in the press for 4 hours to pick up colour. After a gentle pressing the resulting pink juice underwent a controlled fermenta- tion at 16°C.

The gorgeous lively colour reveals a mixed fresh and stewed strawberry core with hints of Valencia orange and candied fruits.
Excellent as an aperitif or serve with grilled chicken, crab salad, or grilled tuna. Also an interesting pairing with sushi and vegetable dishes such as ratatouille.
The wine is ideally served at 10-12°C.
